With a playful design, the Balloon stool makes any place more casual. Either by its colorful seat or by its shape, that resembles the speech bubbles from comics.

Designed initially as a stool, the furniture piece also gives the option to serve as a fun side table, or, together with more modules, a coffee table.

The Balloon stool consists of fitting sistems that take advantage of CNC technology. Easy to produce and assemble, after manufacturing only some glue is needed.

​

Materials initially planned for this project were MDF boards, with high gloss lacquer on the seats and glossy varnish on the base.

 

The Balloon stool participated in the Rio + Design 2013 exhibition, Rio + Design in Milan 2014 and was exposed in the store window of Shop 126 as a creative partnership between the brand and Think Big Design.
